The Wilding Theatre Show

The Wilding Theatre

There will be a public performance of the Wilding Theatre Show at
Otterburn RTC Sports Grounds at 1pm on Saturday 25th June – admission FREE – for information about free tickets please email admin@miscreations.co.uk
Wilding Theatre is an extraordinary outdoor theatre adventure for children aged 4+ and their families.
The Planet is out of balance; Dreaming Earth Giants are stirring from their deep, time-long sleep. Called by a Curlew, Alice finds herself on a fantastical journey that takes her from treetop to deep underground. She learns to speak Woodpecker and sings with a worm, she tumbles upon a mole and is dwarfed by giant wild flowers all in search of an elusive invitation to meet some very important mushrooms…
Wilding Theatre takes us all on an ecological odyssey of surprises – through puppets, song, clown, storytelling and listening to the natural world – young people and their families alike will become part of the spiralling connections that Alice makes so that together we come to understand how to send the giants back to sleep.
Age guidance: 4+

Smoothie Day Success!

Smoothie Day Success!

The smoothie day was a great success. Apple trees were planted, fruit was crushed and pressed, and most importantly delicious juice was drunk!

Thank you to CAN for their support in purchasing the crusher and press.

Smoothie Making Workshop

Smoothie Making Workshop

The Rede Tyne Coquet Sports & Leisure Centre in Otterburn is hosting a smoothie making session on Saturday morning, 26th February between 10:00 and 12:00.

Everyone is invited to come along and see the new fruit crusher and fruit press at work and to have a go at making their own juices and smoothies. Fruit will be available on the day, but people are welcome to bring their own fruit if they prefer.

This is a family event and is an ideal opportunity for young people to see how fruit can be turned into delicious and healthy drinks. Bottles will be provided for juice to be taken home.

Volunteers will also be planting three apple trees which have been kindly donated by The Bay Trees catering service.

This is a free event, but donations are welcome. RTC would like to thank Community Action Northumberland for their help in funding the fruit crusher and fruit press.
